Yes. Digiweb permits forms to be sent from its servers using esmtp.digiweb.net.nz. Server-side applications that support this include, but is not limited to, CF-Mail, ASP-Mail, CDO, CDO-NT, and formmail.cgi (version 1.7 and above).
Yes - Digiweb now offers authenticated SMTP services via smtpauth.digiweb.net.nz. This will allow you to securely send emails from any computer or network connection provided your email program sends the correct login/password to authenticate itself.

Pricing for this service starts at NZD 5.00 for 1000 messages per month. Bulk pricing is available upon request for high volume users.
To obtain your current quota usage for smtpauth.digiweb.net.nz you can do so by emailing a message with the following subject line: "smtpauth.digiweb.net.nz quota" to: smtpauth@digiweb.net.nz
This will respond with your quota (note: this will only work if you send the email using your e-mail address that was registered with us).
Yes. Users can log into http://imail1.digiweb.net.nz to send and receive emails for their Digiweb managed accounts. They can also create and administer new email addresses from this interface using the Web Admin link at the top right of the screen (provided they have paid for additional POP accounts), as well as instigating mail forwarding and vacation messages/auto-responders using the Preferences button at the bottom left of the screen.
No. Whatever your mail client is, you should have simply 'imail1.digiweb.net.nz' or your domain name on its own, in the POP3 Server field to enable a successful connection. Placing pop3.domainname.co.nz for example will NOT work.
Check you are connected to the internet (seeing if you can browse your home site is a good start). Check to ensure that your POP3 server is correct (see F.A.Q.'s above). Check that your account name/password are valid.
Yes. If your POP3 server is imail1.digiweb.net.nz then you can log into http://imail1.digiweb.net.nz and remove the large email yourself. If your POP3 server is something else, then contact support@digiweb.co.nz to request it to be removed, or call us directly: 0800 DIGIWEB.
Yes - the limit is 5 MB. If you are sent a message over this size, it will be bounced automatically by the server.
Yes. Click on the "Preferences" button on the bottom left of your screen once you are logged in. Under the heading "Sending" place a tick in the checkbox beside "Save Copy of Outgoing Messages in Sent folder" and all outgoing messages will be saved.
Yes. Click on the "Preferences" button on the bottom left of your screen once you are logged in. Place a tick beside "Include original message" under Forwarding and Replying headings.
Yes. Digiweb will alter the MX records in your DNS record to point to a dedicated IP address you may have for collecting your email.
Yes. If your POP3 server is 'imail1.digiweb.net.nz' then all incoming and outgoing email is automatically scanned for viruses and cleaned.
Firstly, you must log into http://imail1.digiweb.net.nz and select Web Admin link from the top right corner of your screen. This will open another window in which you can choose User Administration from the left hand menu. Click the Add button and in the 'Userid' Field you must place the new email address you want e.g. if you wanted the address info@yourdomain.com you would place 'info' in the Userid Field. Enter FullName, Password and Confirm Password. You should leave the Max Mailbox Size and Maximum Mailbox Messages fields blank. Click Save to save the user.
Note: you can only create additional POP accounts if you have purchased this option from Digiweb, otherwise your account will not be configured to allow additional users.
Imail is configured to reject usernames that are less than three characters in length. To sidestep this rule you must follow these steps:
Yes. Select Preferences button from the bottom left of your screen once you are logged in. Under the heading "General User Settings" enter the Reply To: address you want to use and click the Save button.
This can be implemented by logging into the web interface at http://imail1.digiweb.net.nz, and then selecting "Preferences" from the left hand menu. Under the "General User Settings" you will see a field called "Forward To". In this you should put the following:

All new customers with Digiweb New Zealand Limited will have
as their POP3 Server. Pre-existing customers from before 2001 may not have this as their default POP3 Server, and should email support@digiweb.co.nz to enquire what their POP3 Server should be set to.
